TECAR therapy is used for injuries to soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, lymph, nerves), and more resistant structures (tendons, bones and joints)

With TECAR therapy, we accelerate natural healing processes, regeneration, and reduce inflammation, cramps, and contractures.

In TECAR therapy, there are two modes of operation of the device:

• capacitive mode: acts on tissues with a high electrolyte content (soft tissues, muscles)
• resistive mode: acts on tissues with greater resistance (joints, bones, tendons).

During therapy, the physiotherapist gently moves the probe/electrode over the treated area, creating deep heat. Patients often report a pleasant warm sensation on the skin.
