Therapeutic massage is a type of manual therapy often used to treat muscle pain, injuries, and stiffness. Massage therapy, also known as a relaxation technique, can help reduce tension and induce feelings of calm and deep relaxation. Massage therapy involves manipulating muscles by kneading, stroking, rubbing, and stretching muscle fibers. Therapeutic massage may include elements of classical and sports massage, trigger point treatment, myofascial massage, manual manipulation, and the simultaneous use of certain devices.

In our clinic, physiotherapists tailor the massage to the individual, using special techniques and applying the right amount of pressure, tailored to your needs.

The physical effects of massage include:

  • reducing muscle tension and pain,
  • improving posture,
  • improving blood and lymph circulation,
  • faster tissue regeneration,
  • softening of hardened and glued tissues,
  • better joint mobility,
  • relaxation and stretching of shortened tendons and muscles,
  • improving peristalsis,
  • improvement of respiratory function,
  • positive effect on the nervous system,
  • improves the immune system,
  • The skin warms up, becomes more elastic, vital and mechanically resistant.
